Verdal has tours for everyone. Here are some of our favourites:

Ørin

Easy round trip in flat terrain of 4.5 km. Here it is nice to go on a trip with both a pram, bicycle, wheelchair and walking aid. Large rest area with barbecue areas and sea view on Ørin. This is also a suitable swimming spot in the summer. The path goes through the Ørin Nature Reserve, which is home to a number of migratory birds.

Ti på topp

Ten on top is a well-organized tour offer where you, family, friends or colleagues can top up and experience some of the best nature in Verdal has to offer.

We have trips for everyone, regardless of physical condition. Both low threshold and for mountain goats. In the app Ti på topp there are tour descriptions, trail maps and photos.

The competition element is a bit what you make of it yourself, go one, some or all of the tours several times. Record the trips or just enjoy.

Kjentmannsmerket

The Kjentmannsmarket in Verdal is an exciting concept for outdoor enthusiasts and hikers. This label is part of a larger program that encourages exploration and knowledge of local nature and history in Verdal. The aim of the Kjentmannsmarket is to inspire people to explore lesser-known trails and natural areas, while also providing a fun challenge.

To achieve the Kjentmannsmarket, participants must visit a certain number of pre-defined posts located around the municipality. These records are often located at distinctive and interesting places, such as historical landmarks, viewpoints, or scenic areas. At each post, you learn about the place's history, geology, flora, fauna or culture.
